Retreat SCHEDULE

Get ready for a Stunning weekend together!

 

Friday, January 31

5:00pm - Registration Opens (pick up retreat packet, settle into your room, grab dinner at a local restaurant- there are plenty close by!)

7:00pm - Doors Open! (grab a great seat, mingle with other attendees and check out our partner’s booths.)

7:30pm - Session 1 (we will begin on time, so plan to arrive by 7:15 to get settled in your seat!)

9:00pm - Wine & Cheese Welcome Reception (an assortment of fresh snacks & beverages are available all evening)

10:00pm - Vespers: a 20 minute reflection to close your day (optional)

 

Saturday, February 1

7:30am - 20 minute ‘Wake-Up Gentle Yoga Session’ with Bethel (optional)

7:30am - 20 minute guided ‘Contemplative Prayer Practice’ with Christa (optional)

8:00am - Breakfast

9:00 - Session 2 with Bethel

10:15 - Break

10:45 - Session 3 with Bethel

12:00 - Lunch

WORKSHOPS (Choose your afternoon workshops to get you out of your head and into your heart and body!)

*Sign-ups for specific workshops will occur much closer to the retreat.

1:30 - Workshop #1

  • Beginner Level I Yoga with Bethel Lee

  • Praying with Your Feet: an introduction to walking the Labyrinth with Christa Hesselink

  • Art & Wonder Room - use your creativity to express yourself and your prayer (support prompts & ideas provided)

  • Guided Reflective Walking Retreat Outdoors

  • DIY - Silence, Solitude and Stillness (the afternoon is yours to rest in your room, or pray in one of the chapels)

2:30 - Workshop #2

  • Intermediate Level II Yoga with Bethel Lee

  • An Introduction to the Enneagram with certified teacher Carrie Jones

  • Art & Wonder Room - use your creativity to express yourself and your prayer (support prompts & ideas provided)

  • Guided Reflective Walking Retreat Outdoors

  • DIY - Silence, Solitude and Stillness (the afternoon is yours to rest in your room, or pray in one of the chapels)

3:30 - Workshop #3

  • Yin Yoga (all levels) with Bethel Lee

  • Introduction to Centering Prayer & Christian Meditation with Keith Kristich

  • Art & Wonder Room - use your creativity to express yourself and your prayer (support prompts & ideas provided)

  • Guided Reflective Walking Retreat Outdoors

  • DIY - Silence, Solitude and Stillness (the afternoon is yours to rest in your room, or pray in one of the chapels)

Note: Spiritual Direction is available (scheduled in advanced) during the workshops

4:30 - Solitude, Silence & Stillness (everyone is encouraged to enjoy engaged silence while you rest and reflect on your retreat)

5:30 - Dinner

7:00 - Session 4 with Bethel 

8:30 - Yoga Nidra Session (optional)

9:30 - Refreshments

10:00pm - Vespers: a 20 minute reflection to close your day (optional)

 

Sunday, February 2

7:30am - 20 minute ‘Wake-Up Gentle Yoga Session’ with Bethel (optional)

7:30am - 20 minute guided ‘Contemplative Prayer Practice’ with Christa (optional)

8:00am - Breakfast, pack up, and check out of rooms

9:30am - Session 5 with Bethel ending with Communion together.

11:00am - Retreat Ends
